About DemonD T. Martin

Demond Martin is CEO and founder of WellWithAll, an organization reimagining what it means to live well by advancing health, purpose, and opportunity for all. With roots in North Carolina’s Triad, Demond has built a career spanning the White House, Wall Street, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, guided by a belief that leadership can be a powerful force for good. Before co-founding WellWithAll, he served as a senior partner at Adage Capital Management and began his career in the Clinton White House as an assistant to Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles.

Together with his wife, Kia, Demond leads the Martin Family Foundation, which works to close gaps in education and healthcare. He has served in leadership roles with organizations including the Obama Foundation, Berklee College of Music, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the GRAMMY Global Venture Board. Through WellWithAll, Demond continues to challenge conventional thinking about wellbeing, leadership, and expanding opportunities for others.

A special thank you to Cone Health Philanthropy for providing complimentary copies of Demond’s memoir, “Friends of the Good,” for attendees, available while supplies last.

In “Friends of the Good,” entrepreneur and philanthropist Demond T. Martin reflects on the mentors, family members, and lifelong friends who shaped his journey from a challenging childhood to success in business and public service. Inspired by Aristotle’s concept of virtue-based friendship, the book explores the power of meaningful relationships and offers practical insights on leadership, purpose, and personal growth.
