Ultimately, everything we do is for our students. UNCG students are tenacious, but sometimes they need a little extra support to make it across the finish line. Your gift to one of the funds below can help ensure that they succeed.
Joanne Smart drane advancing opportunity fund
Provides scholarships, professional development, research, and programmatic support that expand opportunities for students, faculty, and staff who demonstrate perseverance, initiative, and a commitment to advancing their academic or professional pursuits.
Spartan Food Insecurity Fund
Nearly 34% of students experience food insecurity, so this fund works to address that urgent need. Donations support broad campus food insecurity efforts as well as the Spartan Open Pantry, a campus-based food pantry.
SPARTANS FINISH STRONG FUND
Provides critical timely assistance to students who are very near completing their degrees but face financial hardships. Many of these students have reached their Pell grant or loan limits and often owe balances under $2,000. Your support can be the difference that helps them cross the finish line at graduation.
Student Assistance Fund for Emergencies (SAFE)
An emergency fund initiative that provides one-time emergency assistance to students with short-term unexpected and/or unavoidable financial emergencies (e.g., medical emergencies, natural disasters).
Student SUCCESS INITIATIVES GIFT FUND
Directly supports students through a variety of initiatives, such as peer coaching programs, that help ensure students earn their degrees and leave campus prepared for bright careers.
UNCG General Scholarship FUND
Gifts create access to higher education for students at all income levels, allowing students more time to focus on their studies and decreasing the number of student loans they may need to complete their education.
