Volvo gift supports UNCG’s Bryan School Blueprint Series

Volvo is helping steer UNC Greensboro’s students toward success in their careers. Volvo Group North America, LLC, has pledged $100,000 to UNC Greensboro for the purpose of supporting the UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics Blueprint Series.

Spartans receive Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia Scholarship

Several Spartan doctoral students in the School of Nursing have been supported by a special one-year scholarship. Before the 2022-2023 academic year began, the Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia Board of Directors established a merit scholarship for students in UNC Greensboro’s School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Nurse Anesthesia Concentration.
Castaldos’ gift will support military and veterans alumni, scholarship funds

Let the music play! At UNCG, new scholarship in collaborative piano

Imagine a world without music! For Ruth Heyd ’99 and Stephanie Frazier, that would be unthinkable. They are proud to establish the Ruth Darling Heyd ’99 and Stephanie Frazier Scholarship Endowment in Collaborative Piano at UNCG’s School of Music with a $600,000 planned gift. It is their hope the scholarship will inspire future students to major in this area.
Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies professorship named for Kadis’ granddaughters

“The more we change, the more we have to learn,” says Claudia Kadis ’65. Her new gift will establish the Dylan Rose Kadis and Eloise Hall Kadis Distinguished Professorship in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) and will represent the bulk of an expected $1 million investment in UNC Greensboro’s WGSS program.
New ‘rescue fund’ helps Spartans stay in school

The Seeker Rescue Fund at UNC Greensboro will provide relief to students whose education may be at risk due to a short-term lack of resources. Susan Seeker Jones ’78 and Jim Jones Jr. hope that their $125,000 gift will inspire others to support UNCG’s scholars.
